Our HEART and RESPECT 100 programmes

The HEART programme is a nine-week healthy relationship programme for young women in year nine and upwards.

The programme gives young women the information to understand the complexities of domestic violence and abuse, how to respect and love themselves and others and how to navigate a healthy relationship. The programme also teaches them that if they ever experience domestic violence and abuse that it is never ever their fault.

The programme aims to promote respect and prevent violence and it gives young men information about the differences between a healthy and an abusive relationship. The programme also encourages young men to respect and value themselves, and to break free from rigid expectations of masculinity which society places upon them.
